Power Generation System Summary

A typical power generation system produces power with a large solar array with state of the art trackers to maximize efficiency and minimize land use. Power form the solar array is used by the facility, stored in large energy storage modules or in some cases used to produce hydrogen for fuels cell operation. Fuel cells are integrated into the power generation system to serve base loads and/or provide power to the energy storage module when solar power is not feasible or unavailable. A sophisticated control system monitors all aspects of the system and determines optimal equipment configuration and performance to serve the load.

The state-of-the-art trackers are wind load rated to 290 kph (180 mph), and they will maximize the array efficiency, typically increasing output by 29.4% above a fixed array and minimizing the array footprint.
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) 
The BESS provides modular, utility-scale energy storage for the power generated by the solar array. There are several different technologies to store energy, ranging from traditional batteries to flow batteries to non-battery technology.
Fuel Cell
A fuel cell capable of supplying base load power will be provided. The intent is to utilize the solar array to charge the BESS and have this be the prime base load power supply, but during peak demand periods, maintenance, or periods of low storage, the fuel cell will provide power to the system.
Intelligent Digital Load Controls and Monitoring
Our Intelligent load control and monitoring system monitors and manages all aspects of the load on a per-circuit basis to produce the most efficient power.
